NEWS FROM BARNSLEY FOLK AND ACOUSTIC - There could be a change of venue on the way following the decision of the Land Lady to move on.  Yet more problems with a Punch Pub for musicians!!  

The Young’uns Concert on the 15th of February has been moved to 'The Heart of Barnsley' (formerly Maceys) in Barnsley Town Centre. It's in Peel Square next to Greggs  as a precaution.     WATCH FOR MORE DETAILS COMING SOON.

Anna Shannon’s much anticipated new Album “Over Land” gets it’s official launch on the 15th February. You’ll find it on the Cadiz Music Label.  We’ll be featuring more about this super album as the date grows closer.

You can expect to find the Album at HMV and one or two major music stores and as soon as it’s on the Amazon catalogue in the Acoustic Rotherham Asspociat Shop.

The Doncaster Folk Festival has published it’s programme for 2010.  The Festival runs March 5th - 7th.

Guests include:  Bill Caddick, The Duncan McFarlane Band, ship The Pig, Little Sister, Trio Threlfall, Stitherum, Adrian and Colin, Anne Smith, Tim and Julie, Valduna.

Plus a full programme of Singarounds etc.
